The Noosa Junction Station is Noosa’s new public transport hub. Consisting of seven bus bays that are split above two platforms, the site provides a taste of the Noosa experience.

The Glass House Mountains House celebrates its site, perched on the edge of the remnant rim of the Glass House range. Translated into a place of ‘glass and stone’ inextricably connected to its landscape, it has qualities of being anchored, robust and earthbound as well as being light and floating.

Lindy Atkin, founding partner of Bark has been appointed Queensland Chapter Councillor with the Australian Institute of Architects.

Bark participated in an architecture competition inviting Australian architects to design a new gallery and exhibition space for Australian art, to be used for the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2012 in Japan.

The theme of this year’s National Architecture Conference is ‘Experience’ and is being hosted in Brisbane for the first time in 24 years. Bark directors, Stephen Guthrie and Lindy Atkin, along with architect John Mainwaring have ‘curated’ the Sunshine Coast Residential tour for the Australian Institute of Architects.

Aptly titled ‘Practice on the Coast Edge’, Bark directors Lindy & Steve participated in the Asia Pacific Design Library Lecture Series 2012 and explored how Bark’s residential and community projects represent a sharp contemporary development of a distinctive coastal architecture, reviewing the journey of 18 of our projects.
